In retirement, Brown has dedicated his work to coaching and community service, social entrepreneurship, and developing the next generation of student-athletes.

Howard Brown founded iBall as a sports marketing and sports agency in 2013 after playing professionally for 13 years. The company helped numerous players and coaches advance their professional careers.
Today, Brown coaches High School boys varsity basketball at The Episcopal Academy and Philly Pride AAU (Under Armor). He also volunteers as a coach at numerous rec leagues, including 4 consecutive PAPA league championships. His training has developed a number of Southeastern PA League Champions and All-State, and All-Area Players.
His basketball career began by leading Pottstown to its first ever State Basketball Championship in 1993. Brown was named the PA State Player of the Year in 1995 and went on to become a 1000-point scorer and Big East All-Academic Selection at Villanova University. Brown played professionally for a career spanning 13 years, mostly in Europe.
Brown’s non-profit endeavors have awarded scholarships to 20+ college bound student athletes and through his work in philanthropy, area non-profits have received more than $25m in grants.
